I am Ed Johnson; a husband to Amy, a father to Samuel and Caleb. For my lifes occupation I am a pastor in the tradition of The United Methodist Church. My faith journey and occupation intersect on a daily basis. I have found that it was easier to follow Jesus before I worked in the church; nonetheless, I believe that this is what God would have me to do for now. This blog is dedicated to sharing with any who are interested the challenges and joys of trying to follow Jesus; as well as the frustration and joy of serving the church. Can my mom use your latest post in her church’s newsletter? They are having a lot of discord in their church right now and many are not acting/living the way one would hope. She is truly heartbroken watching this church that has been her home for 30+ years fall apart at the seams. I wanted to have your permission before she moved forward.
